I stamped the image on watercolor cardstock, and colored the scene with Tombow markers. I pulled out the colors with a water brush. I love these stamps because they color up so quickly and easily.
I used a background that I had previously made. You can see that post here. I matted both the square and the background panels with PTI Terracotta Tile cardstock. I die cut the background with my new favorite die from The Greetery GD-M-016 Crimped Frame die.

I love this card. Thank you so much for making it for me Dianne!
ReplyDeleteyou're so welcome! I'm glad you had a nice birthday. This stamp was made for you, I feel quite sure ;-)
DeleteDianne, I'm sure Pam was thrilled with this lovely card. I have the same image, as well as others like it, and I've struggled with how to actually use them on a card since I don't make square cards. So, they sit around, but after seeing this, maybe I'll get inspired. :-) And don't you just love those decorative frame dies? I have a ton in different shapes and edge designs from various companies and just love using them. From Laura Pervier
ReplyDeleteHi Laura! Yeah I don't make square cards very often either. I have discovered though that squares can look good on an A2 size card if they are not too big. At least I think so ;-) And yes, I think these decorative frame dies really finish the edges so nicely.
