I have enjoyed making winter cards
for the last few months, but have started longing for Spring. The new
2014 Magenta Spring collection is finally here, and has so many wonderful images to
choose from. I love to color, and the "Mallow Flowers" image is perfect for most any coloring medium. I chose Copic markers this time, and I added some clear Wink of Stella at the centers of the flowers (but it's
very hard to see the sparkle in the picture).
I stamped the Mallow Flowers image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copic markers. I stamped the Love Letters stamp over the top of my colored image in Memento Desert Sand, after stamping it off lightly on a scrap piece. The image was cut out using Sizzix Oval Framelits (the largest size). The blue paper at the top was embossed with a Cuttlebug Script embossing folder. The paper at the bottom is Magenta patterned paper, and stamped with one of the new Magenta sentiments, "Your life is a canvas." I added some clear Wink of Stella, and pearls from Hero Arts Sea Mixed Accents at the flower centers . This card was so easy and fun to make!
