Alcohol Ink Mini Class

For those of you who are local, I will be doing a mini class at Art 'n Soul on Saturday, June 17 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.. Mini classes at Art 'n Soul are structured like a make and take. If you come in any time between 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, you can make this card for just $5.00 cash or store credit.

You will get to play with alcohol ink and Yupo paper, and you will come away with a finished card. If you have a little experience, it should only take about a half hour to make the card. I have a lot more samples using alcohol ink and Memory Box and Poppy dies that I will post over the next week or so.

Art 'n Soul has an open catalog for Memory Box and Poppy dies. Memory Box and Poppy orders are 10% off through Saturday the 17th.

Happy Happy Christmas

Continuing with the theme of keeping Christmas cards simple, here is another one that I did for the Art 'n Soul Christmas Party inspiration.

Taking a piece of sparkly red cardstock cut to 4" X 5.25", I used the Memory Box die Distressed Snowflake Collage on the left side. This die cuts out snowflake shaped holes in your paper, in several sizes and shapes, and I love how this looks.

I stamped the Hero Arts stamp Happy Happy Christmas in Versamark ink, and embossed with Judikins White Diamond embossing powder. I love the font of this stamp, and love that it says Happy Christmas. Just a little difference that makes me happy.

Not shown is that I glued a few of the snowflakes that came out of the Memory Box die cut onto the inside of the card.

The panel was mounted on a white cardstock base, and I sprinkled a few sequins. This card is actually quite sparkly in real life, fast to make, and very mailable.
